Amaxotos Cycling Route

The linear cycling route of Amaxotos in the Community of Pissouri gives the cyclist the opportunity, under ideal weather conditions, to cross the old road Limassol - Paphos and through the carriage road (very old road) to enjoy the natural view and landscape, the flora and fauna of the area.

At the same time, he will have the opportunity to relax on the wooden benches while reaching the high white hill he will be able to see the unique view offered from the wooden kiosk, which combines the sea and the white mountain ranges.

Using the electronic interaction, the cyclist can "scan" the bar codes on maps and retrieve the route information, the place names of the area, etc. at the suggestion of his phone.

The specific action that has been completed at the beginning of 2022 aims to highlight the diverse / alternative forms of tourism of our community, cycling but also mountaineering / walking, and help Pissouri to be included in the cycling / mountaineering map of the whole of Cyprus.

This innovative action has been carried out with the help and assistance of the Limassol Tourism Development Company and the Ministry of Tourism.
