The renovated old Police Station is a landmark at the entrance of the Community and functions as a multipurpose cultural center which includes: • Cafe •Screening room •Conference room •Green Area •Parking The Community Council has proceeded to rent the cafeteria through tenders but also to create a Halloumi Museum which aims to attract organized tourist and educational groups presenting the historical connection and tradition of the Community with Halloumi.

Pissouri Square is the main outdoor public space of the Community and the main social gathering place of its inhabitants.   Situated in the centre of the Old Village, offering various services to locals and visitors, the pedestrianised square is the beating heart of the Community, blending tradition, tranquility, architecture and culture.  

The Special Honorary Distinction "Golden Mouflon" for 2019 and the title of Green Capital of Cyprus for 2019, was awarded to the community of Pissouri. The award ceremony of the "Pancyprian Awards Green Cities & Green Communities of Cyprus" and the "Pancyprian Environmental Awards for Organizations & Businesses" took place at the Presidential Palace. The twinning protocol between the Municipality of Kileler and the Community of Pissouri of Cyprus was signed by the Mayor of Kileler Thanasi Nasiakopoulo and the President of the community of Pissouri, Lazaros Lazarou in an official ceremony held at the town hall of the community in Cyprus. The twinning protocol states that: “The Municipal Council of Kileler of the Prefecture of Larissa, Region of Thessaly, Greece and the Community Council of Pissouri, Limassol, Cyprus, declare their twinning in order to strengthen the eternal fraternal ties and the cultural identity of Hellenism and Hellenism Testimony of Cyprus ".

Over the last two years, the Community Council of Pissouri, in its effort to make the community accessible in its entirety to people with disabilities, has embarked on a programme of actions designed to promote and strengthen the services and facilities it offers for the disabled members of our community and its visitors. In co-operation with OPAK, the community council has carried out the re-design and marking of all parking spaces and included them in the Ablebook application, has created designated beach access corridors, has purchased a wheelchair for beach access and has undertaken the renovation of public toilets both in the beach and village square areas. Β Επιστημονικό Συμπόσιο Πισσουρίου

Το Πισσούρι τιμά τους Αθλητές του   Του Άνθιμου Πολυβίου Με μια απλή και απέριττη τελετή στο Κοινοτικό Πολιτιστικό Κέντρο, η Κοινότητα Πισσουρίου τίμησε όλους τους κατά καιρούς αθλητές, αθλήτριες και ποδοσφαιριστές που διέπρεψαν στο στίβο και στα γήπεδα, προβάλλοντας όχι μόνο εαυτούς αλλά και το χωριό τους. Η όλη τελετή πραγματοποιήθηκε το Σάββατο 25 Σεπτεμβρίου 2021 και τιμήθηκαν συνολικά 2 πρωταθλήτριες, 7 πρωταθλητές  στίβου και 12 ποδοσφαιριστές που αγωνίστηκαν στην Α’ Κατηγορία των ομάδων τους και άφησαν εποχή στα γήπεδα. Χαιρετίζοντας την εκδήλωση ο Κοινοτάρχης Πισσουρίου κ. Παγκύπρια Περιβαλλοντικά Βραβεία 2020 Πραγματοποιήθηκε στις 29 Οκτωβρίου 2021 η τελετή βράβευσης των «Παγκύπριων Βραβείων Πράσινες Πόλεις & Πράσινες Κοινότητες της Κύπρου» και των «Παγκύπριων Περιβαλλοντικών Βραβείων για Οργανισμούς & Επιχειρήσεις 2020», στο Δημοτικό Θέατρο των Λατσιών.
