Description of Pissouri Primary School
Around 1850 the operation of the first school in the village of Pissouri seems to be placed. In 1912, the need arose to create a new school, which was built in 1915 and operated as a "Boys' School". The "Girl's School of Pissouri" continued its operation in a private house in the village. The rapid development of the village and the growing educational needs led to the decision to build a new school in the village at its current location.
The Primary School of Pissouri, as it is in its current form, is a relatively new building, since it started operating on March 16, 2009. On May 17 of the same year, the school buildings were inaugurated.
The school has, in addition to the six classrooms, a variety of other rooms, workshops and ancillary areas such as:

Today the school has 9 teachers and 60 students.
