Green Pissouri- Sustainable development

The Special Honorary Distinction "Golden Mouflon" for 2019 and the title of Green Capital of Cyprus for 2019, was awarded to the community of Pissouri.

The award ceremony of the "Pancyprian Awards Green Cities & Green Communities of Cyprus" and the "Pancyprian Environmental Awards for Organizations & Businesses" took place at the Presidential Palace. The beautiful community of Limassol won the two most important awards for its work "Mapping Bicycle Routes and Hiking Routes in the wider Pissouri area, Category: Sustainable Tourism", which received the highest score of all the nominated projects in all categories.
